I would also like to suggest to you this article I found that provides very detailed facts and statistics on world hunger.
You can find it here: https://www.deliveryrank.com/blog/world-hunger-facts-statistics
Would you like to add it as an additional resource to your page?

    1. Dear Ravi

Thank you for your interest in Rice Today. We no longer have a print version of the magazine. There are plans to bring it back in the future. We will certainly let you know about it.

  4. Dear sir
    Today’s Greetings!
I have been working on post harvest technology, product development, teaching M.Sc. Food Technol. in CFTRI , Mysore India, for 38 years. Presently in our industry, we have developed a Low Glycemic Index rice having 55%! This white rice has 10 % protein, high dietary fiber, and resistant starch. and iron. I have expertise in quality control of normal rice as well as basmati rice. I want to publish our findings, So please tell how to publish in Rice Today. I cannot subscribe or pay page charges as a I am retired scientist.

    1. Because we are trying to reach people outside the science community, we prefer stories written in the “popular” style rather than technical. We are looking for impact-driven stories featuring farmers or researchers (human interest). Please use direct quotes as much as possible.

If you are writing about a new or ongoing project/activity where the impact is yet to be seen, you can talk about the project’s potential impact and the problems it aims to solve.

There is no need to include the methodology or discuss the data in a detailed manner.

Also, please include magazine-style photos if possible. By this, we mean action photos (e.g., farmers evaluating varieties in a demonstration plot) rather than a group of people standing together (e.g., workshop participants standing in front of a banner). The photos should have a caption and proper credits. Please indicate if a photo is owned by a person/organization so we can put a copyright symbol. Otherwise, all photos will be considered under the terms of the creative commons.

We do not have a print version of the magazine anymore so there is no word limit but 900 words or less would be ideal.

You may submit your manuscript to Rice Today
