The Cambodian Government launched RiceTechCambodia, a five-year project promoting organic rice production in Mondulkiri Province.
The project aims to improve the livelihood of 2,400 small-scale rice farmers by helping them increase their productivity and quality, acquire organic certification for their products, and ensure they get a premium price in the European market.
Funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, RiceTechCambodia will be implemented by SanoRice, Amru Rice, Oxfam, Development and Partnership in Action, Larive International, and the Provincial Department of Agriculture of Mondulkiri.
