The Indiana Farm Bureau, the US state’s largest general farm organization, will launch a new virtual classroom program that will continue to teach agriculture during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Adopt a Classroom is a statewide program which helps bring agriculture education into Indiana’s schools
Under the Adopt a Classroom program, volunteers will interact with schoolchildren virtually through live or recorded video lessons, letters, and photos. Classroom activity kits containing seeds, books, worksheets, and activities that correspond with the virtual lessons will be sent via mail.
