The Philippine Department of Agriculture and SeedWorks Philippines Inc. established a 60-hectare demonstration farm in Sultan Kudarat Province, Mindanao for the drought-tolerant Tatag Hybrid (TH). 82 rice.

TH 82 was developed by SeedWorks Philippines, a crop science company and member of the Hybrid Rice Development Consortium led by the International Rice Research Institute.
