Simple and delicious goat biryani

Learn about making a delicious rice dish. In this recipe, I used goat meat but you can use chicken, beef, or mutton. Hope you enjoy this recipe that was featured at the East Africa Rice Conference.

This recipe serves 6.

Ingredients:
1kg boneless goat/beef meat
500ml mala (buttermilk)
40ml cooking oil
2 medium onions (sliced fine)
4 garlic cloves (chopped)
15gm ginger (chopped)
3 cups basmati Rice
½ cup raisins
½ cup chopped dhani
4 tsp curry powder (you can add more if you need a deeper curry flavor)
turmeric powder (optional) salt
crushed peanuts
caramelized onion
